After you send a campaign, Mailzzy tracks its performance in real time. Your campaign report is where you learn how your audience responded — and where you find the data that shapes smarter decisions for every future send.
How to Open a Campaign Report
- Go to the Campaigns page.
- Click on the name of any sent campaign.
- The campaign report opens automatically. Data updates in real time as emails are delivered, and recipients interact.
Key Metrics Explained
- Delivered — The number of emails successfully accepted by recipients' mail servers. A high delivery rate reflects a clean list and healthy sending infrastructure.
- Open Rate — The share of delivered emails that were opened. Tracked via a small tracking pixel. Some email clients block pixel tracking, which can cause slight under-reporting.
- Click Rate — The percentage of recipients who clicked at least one link. Generally a stronger indicator of genuine engagement than open rate alone.
- Click-to-Open Rate (CTOR) — The percentage of opened emails that resulted in at least one click. This helps measure how effective your email content and call-to-action are after the email is opened.
- Soft Bounce Rate — Emails that could not be delivered temporarily, often due to a full mailbox, temporary server issue, or message size limits.
- Hard Bounce Rate — Emails that permanently failed delivery because the address is invalid, does not exist, or the domain is unavailable. Hard bounces should be removed from your list to maintain sender reputation.
- Unsubscribe Rate — Contacts who clicked the unsubscribe link. A spike may signal irrelevant content, incorrect audience, or too-frequent sending.
- Failure Rate — The percentage of emails that failed to reach recipients due to bounces or spam complaints. A high failure rate can negatively affect your deliverability and sender reputation.
- Spam Complaints — Recipients who marked your email as spam. Keep this below 0.1%, as higher complaint rates can lead to deliverability penalties and reduced inbox placement.
The Performance Report provides a complete overview of your campaign results, including delivery, opens, clicks, bounces, unsubscribes, and engagement trends.
The Link Activity section shows which links received the most clicks, helping you identify the content and calls-to-action that generated the highest engagement.
Geographic Data
The report includes a breakdown of opens and clicks by country and state. Use this to identify your highest-engagement regions and to inform decisions about send timing and content localization.
Filtering by Date Range
Use the date range filter to compare performance over specific periods — useful for measuring the impact of changes you have made to your campaigns over time.
Healthy Benchmark Targets
- Open rate — 20% to 40% across most industries
