How to Connect Mailzzy to Zapier

Last updated on October 22, 2026

Connect Mailzzy to Zapier to sync contacts from your other apps, react to sign-ups, opens and clicks, and send transactional emails, all without writing code.

Note: The Mailzzy app on Zapier is in beta. If something doesn't work as expected, let our support team know.

Before You Start

  • You need a Mailzzy account and a Zapier account. Simple two-step Zaps work on Zapier's free plan.
  • You need to be an admin in Mailzzy to create an API key.

Create Your Mailzzy API Key

  1. In Mailzzy, open your profile menu in the top-right corner and select Client Credentials.
  2. In the Public API & Zapier keys section, select Create API key.
  3. Give the key a name, such as Zapier, and choose when it expires: 30 days, 90 days, 1 year, 2 years or 3 years.
  4. Select Create key, then copy the key. It starts with sk_live_.

Note: The key is only shown once. Keep it private, like a password. The Generate API Key button on the same page creates a client ID and secret, which isn't what Zapier needs.

Connect Mailzzy in Zapier

  1. In Zapier, create a Zap.
  2. Choose Mailzzy as the trigger or action app.
  3. Select Sign in and paste your API key.

Zapier shows the connection with your Mailzzy email address and account name, so you can tell your accounts apart.

Build Your First Zap

Example: add new Google Sheets rows to Mailzzy as contacts.

  1. Trigger: Google Sheets → New Spreadsheet Row.
  2. Action: Mailzzy → Create or Update Contact.
  3. Match the email and name columns to the contact fields.
  4. Test the Zap and turn it on.
