Understanding Mailzzy's Email Sending Limits

Last updated on May 14, 2026

Every Mailzzy plan includes limits for both emails and contacts. Understanding these limits helps you plan your campaigns effectively and avoid interruptions to your sending.

How Sending Limits Work

Your sending limit is the maximum number of emails you can send per month under your current plan. This count includes all emails sent across campaigns during your billing period.

In addition to email limits, each plan also includes a contact limit, which defines how many active contacts you can have in your account at any given time.

Sending Limits by Plan

Mailzzy offers three main plans, each with different sending allowances:

  • Free (30-day trial) – Up to 500 contacts and 5,000 emails per month
  • Standard – Up to 500 contacts and 2,500 emails per month
  • Premium – Up to 500 contacts and 5,000 emails per month

Note: Contact and email limits scale with your plan. If you need higher limits, contact the Mailzzy team to discuss a custom plan tailored to your requirements.

What Counts Towards Your Limit

  • Each recipient in a sent campaign counts as one email
  • Test emails do not count towards your monthly sending limit
  • Automated emails sent through automations do count towards your monthly limit

What Happens If You Reach Your Limit

If you reach your monthly email sending limit, you will not be able to send further campaigns until your billing cycle resets or you upgrade your plan.

If you reach your contact limit, sending will be paused until you either:

  • Reduce your active contacts to stay within the allowed limit, or
  • Upgrade to a plan with a higher contact allowance

Mailzzy will notify you as you approach your limits so you have time to take action.

Resetting Your Sending Limit

Your monthly email sending limit resets at the start of each billing cycle. The reset date is based on when you subscribed to your current plan.

Upgrading Your Plan

If you regularly reach your email or contact limits, consider upgrading to a higher plan or requesting a custom plan.

You can manage your subscription from the Billing section in your account settings, or contact the Mailzzy support team for assistance in choosing the right plan.
