How to Create a New Sender (From Name & Email)

Setting up a sender is an important part of email marketing with Mailzzy. The sender information — From name and From email address — is what your recipients see in their inbox. It helps establish trust and improves the chances of your email being opened.

You can create multiple senders to match different campaigns, teams, or departments.

What Is a Sender

In Mailzzy, a sender represents the person or business sending the email. Each sender consists of:

  • Sender Name – The name that appears in your recipients' inboxes.
  • Sender Email Address – The email address shown as the origin of the message.

How to Create a Sender

Follow these steps to add a new sender:

  • Click on your profile name and navigate to Senders, Domains & Dedicated IPs > Senders.
  • Click Add Sender.
  • In the Sender Name field, enter the name you want recipients to see (e.g., Marketing Team or Sales Team).
  • In the Email field, enter the email address you’ll use to send emails.
  • Verification email will be sent to the entered address with a code.
  • Enter the verification code in Mailzzy.
  • Click Verify. Once confirmed, the sender status will be updated to Verified.

Using Freemium Email Addresses

If you use a freemium email provider, such as Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, etc., your From email address will automatically be replaced with a Mailzzy-managed domain (e.g., @trywithmailzzy.com or @sendwithmailzzy.com).

his is done to:

  • Ensure your emails meet sender authentication standards.
  • Improve deliverability.
  • Prevent your emails from landing in spam folders.

Domain Not Authenticated

If you’ve added a custom domain email address (e.g., yourname@yourcompany.com) but haven’t authenticated your domain, Mailzzy will still replace your From email with a Mailzzy domain. You’ll also see a Domain not authenticated tag next to your sender in the Senders list.If you’ve added a custom domain email address (e.g., yourname@yourcompany.com) but haven’t authenticated your domain, Mailzzy will still replace your From email with a Mailzzy domain. Authenticating your domain is key to gaining full control over your sender identity and improving your email performance.

Using Your Sender in Campaigns

Once you've added and verified your sender, you’ll be able to select it from the From dropdown during the email campaign creation process.
