When a contact no longer wants to receive your email campaigns, their status changes to Unsubscribed. This may happen if they click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of your email or if you manually unsubscribe them.
As soon as a contact is unsubscribed:
Note: Unsubscribed contacts are not counted toward your contact usage.
You might need to manually unsubscribe someone if they request it directly or if you no longer want to send them emails.
To unsubscribe a contact:
That’s it! The contact is now unsubscribed and won’t receive future emails.
To unsubscribe several recipients at once:
You can resubscribe contacts, but only if you have clear and documented permission to send them emails again. This is useful if someone was unsubscribed by mistake or requests to be added back.
